There is a is a transition from this world to the next, it’s hard to explain because not having to truly experience death to know what it is. But often there is this surge – a burst of energy that’s unexplainable and almost impossible to describe. ‘Surgers’ are hard to define. Some are terminally ill patients who experience this burst of energy. They say it’s a swelling of the brain, but no one really and truly knows. It’s unexplainable like Me, it’s a mystery. It’s like your soul needs to make peace and say its final goodbyes to the life once lived. But there is also another surge that is often experienced, and again is one that is hard to describe. Like when Nicodemus asked Jesus, “How can a man be born again, because he cannot enter back into his mother’s womb!” Any yet Jesus repeated once more, “You must be born again.” There is that surge when the old man dies and the new man is born. It’s like a magnet force pulling you forward. It’s hard to describe.
The surge that forces you to say goodbye – and you are born again – born into a new life that now is also hard to explain. Its not a physical death, although the experience may seem that way, because all the old things have passed away. It’s a death of the heart. It’s like all those things that you used to crave having now ceased, this death will cause you to lose family and friends, but the life that comes with this death is more abundant than the one you had before.
When ask, “How can dry bones live again?” – well, they can’t – unless they have been watered with His Word and His anointing. The fields seem dry, yet the possibilities seem endless, because He will now live where there once was death. But His Spirit cannot live with defiled spirits. So we must be born again of His Spirit to be present in us. He can make those dead bones live again, for all of a sudden – flesh and muscles appear – and the dead in Christ will rise. This surge is a powerful thing and is often scary because it comes with a price. The price is death, and no one wants to die so that then new man can live.
But He says, “Rise up My servants and come forth and serve Me, worship Me in Spirit and in Truth. Talk to Me in a language foreign to men. Worship Me praise Me. Die for Me, lay at My feet and give your life to Me freely without thought. What does it mean for a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul. Be My love, My divine one who loves me. I have given you your surge, that burst of energy that you need to pass on and say your goodbyes. Join Me as the thief did on the cross. Life – the like’s of which the world doesn’t know – is here for your taking. And all you have to do is surrender to Me.”
Surrendering is so hard because it’s letting go, it’s losing you and not letting your will be done – but allowing His perfect will to be done. Its taking up His cross and bearing everything that comes along with it. Can you surrender? Will you surrender all? And when you truly let go and surrender – out of your belly will flow rivers of water – and His Spirit will surround you. It will totally encompass you. You will be whole again. Every area that was broken will be healed – and all you have to do to receive is to ask. And you shall receive, if you lift you head up and say, “Lord, I give my life to You. You are all that I am and all that I hope to be.” Relax your mind, surrender your heart, your tongue – as well as your spirit.
The surge, is like something you’ve never experienced! It’s frightening, it’s exhilarating – but it must happen in order to be one with Him. So are you willing to die, not a physical death but a spiritual death in order to experience all that life has to offer? It’s amazing this surge. It produces a new life and new you. It begins with Him. Say your good-byes, tell them you love them, and prepare them for the end. Which is just the beginning for you. It is time to move forward to see the life that is facing you in the mirror. It’s a reflection of Me and my life for you.
Heavenly Father, I plead the Blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ over me and I thank You for the most wonderful gift of salvation. Lord Jesus You promised me another gift, the gift of the Holy Spirit. So I ask You Lord Jesus, to baptize and fill me in and with Your Holy Spirit, just as You filled Your disciples on the day of Pentecost. Christ Jesus, I want to be a disciple of Yours, filled with the Holy Spirit just as Your disciples were. I will try to do what You tell me to do, I forgive all those who have ever caused me pain, trauma, shock, harm, rejection, or shame, and I ask You to forgive them. I also ask You to forgive me for holding a judgment against them.
Christ Jesus, Breathe in me Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Lord, for hearing my prayer. I lift up my hands unto You Jesus worshiping and praising You in the Spirit. I give thanks, praise, and glory to You forever with all my heart.
Christ Jesus, I thank You that You may grant me out of the rich treasury of Your glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power of my inner man by the Holy Spirit. That You, Jesus Christ, through my faith may dwell in my heart that I may be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love. That I may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints what is breadth and length and height and depth of Your love. I pray in Christ Jesus’ Holy Name; with thanksgiving. Amen!

“I baptize you with water. But one more powerful than I will come, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. Luke 3:16.
