If you could start a new business right now, what would it be?

If You Could Start a New Business Right Now, What Would It Be?

Honestly, I think I would open a women’s retreat.

Maybe somewhere beautiful and peaceful—part bed-and-breakfast, part sanctuary.

I love entertaining, so I can already picture the meals, the comfortable rooms, the little details that make people feel cared for.

But more than that, I would want it to be a place where women could come and breathe.

A place where they could step away from the noise of life long enough to hear themselves again.

A place to rest.

To pray.

To journal.

To laugh.

To cry if they need to.

To talk honestly about the broken places in their lives without feeling like they have to pretend everything is fine.

Maybe there would be workshops.

Long dinners around one table.

Morning walks.

Quiet spaces.

Conversations about faith, relationships, purpose, identity, forgiveness, and becoming.

Because sometimes healing doesn’t begin with somebody giving you all the answers.

Sometimes it begins when you finally have enough space to ask yourself the right questions.

I think I would want women to leave feeling lighter than when they arrived.

Not because every problem disappeared…

but because somewhere during those few days, they remembered themselves again.

So yes, maybe I’d open a bed-and-breakfast.

But knowing me, it wouldn’t stay just a bed-and-breakfast for long.

It would probably become a place for women to heal in broken places.

Thinking out loud…

Maybe some businesses aren’t created simply to make money.

Maybe some are created to make room for people to become whole again.
