FORGIVENESS ISN’T ABOUT THEM

Forgiveness isn’t about

forgiving the person who hurt you.

Not really.

It’s about releasing yourself

from the version of you

that stayed stuck in that moment.

Because when you don’t forgive…

you keep reliving it.

The words.

The silence.

The betrayal.

The absence.

Over and over again.

And they move on…

while you stay tied to what happened.

Forgiveness is not saying

it was okay.

It wasn’t.

It’s saying—

I refuse to carry this anymore.

Because healing requires movement.

And you cannot move forward

while dragging the weight

of what they did to you.

So you release it.

Not for them.

For you.

Because peace is not found

in holding on—

It’s found

in letting go.
