What’s the most underrated movie you’ve ever watched?

For me, it’s A Walk to Remember.

I’ve always loved Nicholas Sparks, but there’s something about this story that has stayed with me.

At first glance, it looks like a teenage love story. But the older I get, the more I realize it was about so much more than romance.

It was about a young man who thought he knew who he was until loving someone challenged him to become better.

It was about a young woman whose faith wasn’t loud or forceful. She simply lived it.

And then there was the kind of love that knows it may not get forever and chooses to love fully anyway.

Maybe that’s why the movie still gets me.

Some people enter our lives and stay for decades.

Others are only with us for a season.

But sometimes the length of time someone is in your life has absolutely nothing to do with the size of the imprint they leave on it.

Jamie didn’t just become part of Landon’s story.

She changed the man he became.

And perhaps that is one of the most beautiful things love can do.

It doesn’t always get to stay.

Sometimes it simply leaves you better than it found you.

And yes… after all these years, I’m still going to cry.

Thinking out loud…

Maybe the greatest love stories aren’t measured by how long they lasted, but by who we became because they happened.

What movie do you think never got the appreciation it deserved?
