My SEO Strategy? I’m Still Learning.
What are my strategies for SEO?
First, let me confess: I am still learning what all those letters require of me.
I understand wanting your work to be found. When you spend time writing something meaningful, you hope it reaches someone who needs it.
But when I sit down to write, my first thought is usually a person.
Someone trying to forgive.
Someone learning to live after a loss.
Someone wondering whether they have waited too long to begin again.
What would I say if that person were sitting across from me?
That is where my writing starts.
I am learning the practical side of helping people discover my work, too. I want my titles to tell readers what they can expect. I want to make it easy for someone who connects with one reflection to find another.
There is room to grow, and I am willing to learn.
Still, I hope I always remember why I started. There is a person on the other side of every view, and I want to give them something worth their time.
“I’m not sure how to write what people actually like to read. I just write what I hope people need to read.”
That is the heart of it for me.
And if someone finds my blog, reads a few lines, and thinks, “She understands”—well, that is a connection I would love to keep building.
Fellow bloggers, what is one thing you wish you had known when you started?
