Not Everybody Can Handle Your Oxygen
Not everybody can handle your oxygen.
Some people are only comfortable when you breathe small—when you dim your light, silence your voice, and shrink your dreams so they don’t have to confront their own limitations.
But the moment you begin to heal, grow, and walk in your purpose, your presence alone becomes too much for some people. It’s not because you’re arrogant.
It’s because healthy people expose what unhealthy people have learned to tolerate.
Don’t suffocate yourself just so someone else can breathe easier.
God didn’t create you to live on borrowed air.
He created you to breathe deeply, love freely, and walk confidently in the purpose He prepared for you.
The people meant for your life won’t be intimidated by your oxygen.
They’ll breathe easier because you’re in the room.
They won’t ask you to become less.
They’ll celebrate who God created you to be.
Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is stop apologizing for the life God breathed into you.
From the very beginning, God chose breath as the sign of life.
He didn’t whisper life into humanity.
He breathed it.
And if the Creator of the universe wasn’t afraid to fill your lungs, don’t spend your life emptying them to make someone else comfortable.
“Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.” — Genesis 2:7
Breathe.
God already decided you belong here.
