Lord, I Give You the Glory
Lord, I give You the glory.
Even when I cannot see the ending, I know You are already there.
You are the Alpha and the Omega.
The Beginning and the End.
Nothing surprises You.
Nothing catches You off guard.
When the road is uncertain, You are my confidence.
When the night is long, You are my light.
When I don’t understand, You remind me that I don’t have to understand to trust.
Faith isn’t knowing every detail.
Faith is believing that the One who holds my future is already standing there, preparing the way.
You’ve never asked me to have all the answers.
You’ve simply asked me to keep walking.
So today, I choose trust over fear.
Hope over despair.
Peace over worry.
I release my plans into Your hands, knowing that Your plans are higher than mine.
Thank You for the prayers You answered.
Thank You for the prayers You lovingly withheld.
And thank You for the prayers You’re still working on, even when I cannot yet see the evidence.
Lord, if You brought me this far, I know You won’t leave me now.
So I will praise You in the waiting.
I will worship You in the wilderness.
I will trust You in the silence.
Because my confidence has never been in knowing the outcome.
My confidence is in knowing the One who writes the ending.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
🤍 Lord, I give You the glory—not just for what You have done, but for what You are doing, even when I cannot yet see it. Amen.
