What’s a time you followed your gut and it turned out to be exactly right?

One that still makes me smile happened at Goodwill.

I came across an old dining room table that most people probably walked right past. It looked worn, scratched, and forgotten. But something about it told me not to leave it behind.

It was only $5.00.

I brought it home, cleaned it, carefully restored it, and that’s when I realized my instincts had been right all along.

It wasn’t just an old table.

It was an authentic Duncan Phyfe dining table, complete with its original brass claw feet.

Sometimes what looks ordinary simply needs someone willing to see its potential.

That table became more than one of my favorite finds—it reminded me to trust my instincts. Over the years I’ve learned that quiet voice inside us is often there for a reason.

Sometimes your greatest treasures aren’t the ones everyone notices.

They’re the ones everyone else overlooks.
