Let’s Have a Conversation
Have you ever considered that not everyone who passes away is automatically going to heaven?
Before you get offended, hear me out.
We often speak of heaven as if it is an automatic destination, regardless of the choices we make, the life we live, or the relationship we cultivate with God. Yet throughout Scripture, we are reminded that love requires a response.
Now consider this:
Long before you were born, a love story was being written.
Before your first breath.
Before your first mistake.
Before your first heartbreak.
God knew you.
Not as a distant creator observing from afar, but as a Father who desired a relationship with His creation.
The beautiful thing about love is that it cannot be forced.
God extends His hand, but He does not close your fingers around it.
He invites, but He does not coerce.
He pursues, but He does not imprison.
A relationship with God is not simply about believing He exists. It is about accepting the invitation He offers.
Just as no one can force another person into a marriage, no one is forced into a relationship with God. Love always leaves room for choice.
That choice is what makes love meaningful.
So perhaps the question isn’t, “Is everyone going to heaven?”
Perhaps the deeper question is:
What are we doing with the invitation?
Because every love story requires two people willing to say yes.
If God desires a relationship rather than mere religion, what does it truly mean to accept His invitation?
