What if you could go back, and recapture what was lost would you. Would you sacrifice your future for your past. Are you willing to forego all that is promise of, for what is lost? It’s a choice between gather the ashes or rebuilding on new ground.  There is the temptation of correcting all your wrongs, but they are no longer wrongs if we repent and confess our sins, God is faithful and has forgiven us. We must take our chance of that.  Only hopeless people settle for  merely okay , rather than taking  risks on something new, why settle for just okay when God has so much more in store for you. God is a god of second chances, but his second chance has nothing to do with the old man only the new.   He does want to restore what the canker worms and the locust ate. But restoration comes at a price.

When faith heals you, you are never what you were before; your faith has made you whole again. Whatever broke your heart was needed to restore hope and heal it. A second life, a second chance, is your chance to begin again and embrace all of life possibilities. My child, it is up to you to move forward, or will you stand there afraid to move forward, so comforted by your pain and heartache. You’ve allowed your past has become a blanket of security. Are you so comfortable with your pain that you can’t fathom your future.  You would rather look back over your life, at some of the places that you were involved in and the choices that you made. And focus on what if, then if only, or the whys.  God has  hope for your future, he has laid out the plans for it. But you have to be willing to believe in the unattainable, and have faith in the impossible.

My child your future is not limited by your past. It  is not determined by what you used to be.  But by who I AM is and what I can and will do. I want to give you a second chance, a new beginning that does not involve any elements of your past. I want to restore hope and give you another chance.  You can’t pass through life looking in your review mirror and never looking ahead.  Life is not about what lies behind us but rather what is ahead of us. My child stop focusing on the number of breathes you have taken, but instead focuses on the ones you will take. I  grant you second chances, third chances, fourth chances, did I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. You can  either put them good use, or squander them.  Beloved, you all stumble, and made mistakes, you will inevitably beg  for yet another chance. I still believe in second chances. There are so many before you who needed a second chance a new beginning look at the lives of Adam, Jacob, David they all needed that second chance.

Your entire life is built on second chances, I give forgive you of your sins, I move you into a future vastly different from your past. My child, every breath you take is a second chance, a second breath. It’s the chance to get it right again, a chance to accept ME as your father. With each breath you inhale  you have are given the opportunity to change your life forever. Let’s begin  preparation, prepare  your life for the harvest.  Your prayers were not in vain, I have heard them.  Endurance’s are needed to win the race; you have to prepare for the race. It is not a quick race,  you question yourself or hesitate about continuing.   Prepare your spirit, heart, body and soul for the race.  Be willing to walk out the process, to run the extra mile.  I have a gift in store for you , but is  your heart is ready to receive it.  Darling, close your eyes, inhale deeply, allow my spirit to entire and exhale all that is keeping you from your second chance.
