Dreams Deferred a divine Conversation

Dreams Deferred: A Divine Conversation

Beloved,

You call them broken dreams.

I call them unfinished sentences.

You look at what has not yet happened and assume it never will. You stare at the clock as if time is your enemy, forgetting that I created time — and I am not bound by it.

Dreams deferred are not dead.

They are developing.

But neglected dreams — dreams you abandon out of fear or fatigue — those are the ones that wither.

You have mistaken delay for denial.

Like Sarai, you grew weary of waiting. You decided to assist Me. You tried to accelerate what I was cultivating. And when impatience produced consequences, you called it failure.

But I never called you foolish.

I called you Mine.

Why is waiting so difficult for you?

Is it because waiting exposes your lack of control?

Because silence feels like absence?

Because process feels like punishment?

You want manifestation without maturation.

You want fulfillment without formation.

But I am more concerned with who you are becoming than what you are receiving.

I know the plans I have for you — but My plans require alignment. They require surrender. They require trust when the evidence is invisible.

Faith is not the celebration after it happens.

Faith is the posture before it happens.

Elijah prayed for rain under a clear sky.

Noah built under a cloudless horizon.

Abraham walked without knowing the destination.

They did not move because they saw.

They moved because they trusted.

You lay your dreams on the altar — and then you hover. You ask Me why I am slow. You question My timing. You grip tighter when I ask you to release.

But control is not faith.

You cannot hold the reins and hold My hand at the same time.

When the dream feels impossible, that is often the doorway to dependency. I allow you to stand in places that feel beyond you — so you remember the dream was never about your strength.

Some dreams are born from ego.

Some from comparison.

Some from insecurity.

But the dreams I plant in you carry weight. They stir your spirit. They make your heart race with holy anticipation.

They will stretch you beyond comfort — but they will anchor you in purpose.

And yes, the pressing feels heavy.

But pressing produces oil.

Waiting produces endurance.

Silence produces discernment.

The only thing standing between you and your promise is not opposition — it is unbelief.

You have watched Me do impossible things in other lives. You celebrate when I heal them, promote them, restore them. But when it comes to you, you shrink.

Why do you doubt what I can do in your own life?

With man it is impossible.

With Me — all things are possible.

Do not limit your prayers to what feels reasonable. Ask boldly. Believe outrageously. Prepare your field before the rain falls. Build as if the flood is certain.

I often choose the unlikely to accomplish the extraordinary — so that when it happens, no one can credit human ability.

When the path becomes difficult, do not interpret it as rejection. Difficulty is often refinement.

You are not pursuing a dream.

You are pursuing Me — the Giver of dreams.

And when you pursue Me, I shape you to carry what you are asking for.

So I ask you:

Will you stand on the sidelines of your own calling?

Or will you trust Me enough to move even when the outcome is unseen?

Dream again.

But this time, dream surrendered.

Dream with endurance.

Dream without gripping.

Dream without fear of delay.

Release what you placed on the altar.

Let Me shape it.

Let Me time it.

Let Me breathe life into it.

I am not slow.

I am strategic.

Take My hand.

And walk.
