Becoming Whole: You Were Never Broken
There comes a moment in healing when you stop searching for what’s wrong with you.
Not because everything was easy.
Not because nothing hurt.
But because you finally understand this truth:
You were never broken.
You were becoming.
Every season that confused you shaped you.
Every loss that emptied you expanded your capacity to love.
Every version of you that survived carried wisdom forward.
Healing isn’t about erasing the past.
It’s about integrating it—
allowing the child, the woman, the mother, the dreamer, the wounded, and the healed
to exist in the same body without shame.
What once felt like fragments now feel like foundations.
What once felt unfinished now feels complete—not because life is perfect,
but because you are at peace with who you are becoming.
This is what wholeness looks like.
Not the absence of scars,
but the presence of grace.
May you rest in the truth that nothing in you was wasted.
May what tried to break you instead become what grounds you.
May you walk forward gentle with yourself, brave in love,
and anchored in the knowing that God has been forming you all along.
Amen.
Thank you for walking with me through this series .
