Trusting God While Still Waiting)
Sometimes God gives us a glimpse of the promise.
He shows us what could be.
What will be.
What He intends for our lives.
And the moment we see it, our hearts rush ahead.
We want the promise now.
We want the fulfillment quickly.
We want the vision without the waiting.
But God—who sees what we cannot—knows what’s best for us.
And often, what’s best is the process in between.
Waiting is not punishment.
It’s preparation.
When I think about Sarah, I think about how she laughed—not because she didn’t love God, but because waiting had worn her down. Her disbelief didn’t cancel the promise, but it did take her through unexpected seasons before it came to pass.
Still, God was faithful.
And so was His promise.
What waiting teaches us is this:
frustration doesn’t move God faster—but faithfulness keeps us aligned.
Sometimes we aren’t delayed—we’re simply not positioned yet.
Like Esther, there are seasons of preparation we don’t always understand. Quiet seasons. Hidden seasons. Refining seasons. Times when God is working on us just as much as He’s working on what’s ahead.
Becoming faithful before fulfilled means trusting God even when nothing looks different.
It means showing up when there’s no applause.
Believing when there’s no evidence yet.
It’s choosing faithfulness over frustration.
Trust over timing.
Presence over pressure.
Because fulfillment will come—but faithfulness is formed in the waiting.
And when the promise finally arrives,
you’ll realize you weren’t just waiting for it.
It was preparing you.
I am becoming faithful—before fulfilled.
Still becoming.
