Will you still serve Me, still worship Me, even if I never give you what you asked for?

Will you still love Me, or has disappointment hardened your heart? You pray for a child. You pray for a spouse. But these longings have grown so loud that My voice has grown faint in your life. Your desires have consumed you — and somewhere along the way, you began to desire Me less.

You come to Me with the same requests, but I’m watching your heart. The things you want have become your focus, and you’ve forgotten your covenant with Me. So I have paused My answer — not to punish you, but to draw you back to where we began. Because I was never meant to be used as the Deliverer of your dreams… I was meant to be your first love.

I hear your silent sobs about an empty womb.

I hear your longing for companionship.

But I have not yet heard you whisper, “Father, not my will, but Yours be done.”

I haven’t heard you say, “Whether or not I become a parent, whether or not I marry, I will still serve You. I will still praise You. I will still love You.” Instead, I hear your frustration. I see the tears you hide behind your smile. The world sees you as “strong” and “saved,” but I see the bitterness and the hurt you don’t show anyone — not even Me.

You believe I haven’t kept My promise. But look closely, beloved: have you kept yours?

You’ve tried to impress the world, but you have not truly sought Me. I’m not asking for perfection — I’m asking for your heart. I want you to worship Me in spirit and in truth, not in performance or pretense. I already know you’re hurting. I already know you feel abandoned. Bring that truth to Me. Let’s begin there.

My promise still stands: I will give you the desires of your heart.

But your desires and My Spirit must walk together. This is why I need to know: Do you want the blessing more than the One who blesses?

You dream big — but do your dreams include Me?

Does your vision place Me at the center, or the sidelines?

Who is truly first in your life?

Seek Me first.

Seek My kingdom.

Seek My righteousness.

Then — and only then — will everything else be added unto you.

I know what you long for.

I know what I’ve promised you.

But preparation comes before fulfillment.

Study My Word. Spend time with Me. Cultivate a tender, listening heart. Prepare your fields for the harvest — because what I have for you is already on its way.

Remember the children in the wilderness. They complained, wishing they were back in bondage because My provision didn’t look like what they expected. Don’t miss your blessing because you expect it to come wrapped in familiar packaging. My gifts rarely look the way you imagine — but they are always exactly what you need.

You have not passed this way before. This is a new path, a new season, a new preparation.

Walk with Me, trust Me, seek Me with your whole heart — and I will give you the desires of your heart.
