Father, knowing you is like knowing myself, I love being next to you. I haven’t completely surrendered as I should and I need to. I long to be in your arms, will you dance with me. We dance passionately, our bodies together as one, we have always danced together. The warmth of your body against mine, I feel as though I can completely unwind in your arms, I can give myself to you. I feel your glory as it shines on my soul, as you hold me, I have never been held so close before, not this way. No one has come to me this way before, so intimately so inviting, when I close my eyes I feel your lips pressed against my forehead, I am intrigued by your essences. You are the choreographer. You are teaching me what steps to follow and how to lead. Will you guide me Lord as I follow?
I sometimes have issues following; following means that allowing someone else’s too lead and assume control. Your rhythm is music to my ears it’s like a great classic. I can hear it in my heart and my soul. I feel your arms around me holding me protecting me. I feel you as you guide my steps in this world and in the spirit realm. I hear your rhythm your heart. It’s a beats in time with mine. I lay my head against your chest I love the feel of you. I love your gentleness and the way I feel when I am next to you. There is nothing in comparison to dancing in your father’s arms the arms of my creator.
Our dance is a great waltz both dancers are in step, you lead I follow. I love the way you lead me. Life is often compared to dances. So often we compare it to a waltz. You hold out your hand; I walk toward you I give you my right hand. I position myself next to you we prepare for the dance. We began our dance in a clockwise position you lead me as you often do in life one, step to my left, two steps to my right and three, both a step together. You are leading me through life Lord, you are ordering my steps. You are whispering to my soul my,” child takes this route, not that one; allow me to order your steps and not that of the world.” Listen to the music of my heart and follow the rhythm of my heartbeat. Step by step, I allow God to lead the way. I listen to the music of his heart and follow the rhythm of his pulse. Praying I listen to the rhythm of your heart only. I won’t allow distress or anguish to misguide me. Lord hold me closer, as I close my eyes and imagine this great waltz, father and child dancing closely together. Our waltz is not the tango.
The tango bests describe our relationship in my life journey; it’s where you have gone after me. Your pursuit of me has been subtle and gentle. It’s a passionate dance; I can’t tell you are in pursuit of me. You’ve always chased me in this relationship, and I have enjoyed the pursuit. You pursued to win my affection, and soul but more so you want to win my heart. This is a journey to recreate our destiny. A simple journey to remind me that you love me, that you will never forget me. You bear my name engraved in the palm of your hand as well as in your heart. Our dance is close and intimate you can hear my heart beat. I can hear yours we are as one. Your presence was very powerful. I want to dance for you, to be captivated by your glory; I want to show you my dance of passion. Will you dance with me you lead me will you take control, as I surrender myself and stick with you and only you. Dance with my father, show me your glory
